This co-curricular lecture explores One Health through the challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), highlighting its circulation among human, animal and environmental health. Using antibiotic use in livestock as a case study, the session examines antimicrobial residues and resistant microorganisms across the food chain and their potential dissemination through animal waste, sewage and the wider environment.
