The 2025 Belgian One Health (BeOH) event addressed ecosystem, animal, and human health issues in an interdisciplinary way, focusing on the role of environmental factors influencing possible pathways of infectious disease emergence, and on prevention, early warning mechanisms and effective preparedness solutions. Overarching themes were biodiversity loss, climate change, wildlife trade, invasive alien species and surveillance.

The International Veterinary Student Association Standing Committee on One Health (IVSA SCOH) organized a unique global event this year. One Health Day Panel discussion- Voices from around the world. We had 9 student panellists from 9 MO (member organizations) representing 9 countries. The questions asked were specifically curated for the countries and revolved around various subtopics like Food safety, zoonotic diseases, climate change, youth empowerment, AMR, wildlife and environment
